In Form Maker Pro to add a calculation you
should already have at least one digit-only or currency field (only
such fields can be used as variables). Also, the calculation field
cannot appear on the same page with its parameters; only on pages after
that (usually on preview). For example, if you have digit-only fields
"a" and "b" on the first form page, the second page may contain a
calculation a+b (its result can be shown directly on the page, or
entered in a hidden field value without displaying).
To make a
calculation, open a page where you plan to insert it, and click ADD
CALCULATION in the right side of the page. Then you should name this
calculation and compose the formula in the textarea, clicking on
variables to insert them and using signs +, -, *, / and brackets. Then
you click Submit and see the list of calculation on the right side of
form editing page updated with the fresh added calculation.
Now
you need to add the calculation from the list to the form on certain
position. Click CALCULATION on the left side of the page, and select
one of positions "Insert new form field here" which are situated
before, after and between the fields. Here you can write a title to
display, select a calculation from the dropdown list and press Submit.
This returns you to the form editing page where you can click Save to
save the newly made changes.
After all you will be able to add calculation fields (like any other fields) to email or log templates.
