KMP v5.1 Update Notices

There are several main changes in the 5.1 version that affect your knowledge base, and you should be prepared to check and modify these settings according to your requirements just after update.

1. Front-end (user area) and back-end (application) language profiles are merged to a single language profile that contains language strings for the whole application. If you have front-end language and application language profiles with the same ID, they will be merged into a single profile. If you have front-end translations only, they will be moved to application languages and extended with back-end language strings. This has been done because new version allows users to login in the front-end, so many language strings are used in the front-end as well as in the back-end now.
   
2. There are also a number of new language strings in English language profile in the new version. They will be added to your language profiles, so you can translate them at any moment.
   
3. Hosted knowledge base publication profile has been drastically changed. It has been completely redesigned and large number of new settings and options has been added.

   Note that no changes (except bug fixes) were done to remote publications, thus you can be sure that knowledge base embedded to your website will have the same look and feel.
