We get many requests from our customers about implement of an API in Knowledgebase Manager Pro. API would allow easy and flexible integration with third party scripts. We agreed with our customers and started development of XML API for our knowledge base software.

The upcoming maintenance release of Knowledgebase Manager Pro will include installation API. It can be used by web hosting companies, partners or ISPs to perform automated remote installations of Knowledgebase Manager Pro. By passing an XML based request to a remote location, Knowledgebase Manager Pro will initialize and complete the installation request.

The remote installation API is useful for web hosting providers or ISPs to leverage for quick deployment of Knowledgebase Manager Pro on to remote systems.

We also include sample PHP script and UNIX shell script, so you may start using our API without any additional coding. You just need to populate necessary installation parameters and run the script.

We Are Looking for Your Suggestions

We will implement API for most functions of our knowledge base software, but you may want advice us about priority of each function.  For example you may want to have ability to export articles via XML API, update knowledge base software via API, etc. You should let us know about it.
